Release of Digital Grow

On 18 October 2016, the platform Digital Grow was officially released, comprising several technical documents on rural activities, in four languages: Portuguese, Spanish, French and English. More than a collection of documents, Digital Grow is a platform that allows anyone, or any institution, to share information about rural activity techniques.

Partnership with PRORURAL

Fondation Ondjyla, "Associação Internacional dos Movimentos Familiares de Formação Rural” (AIMFR) and "Asociación Civil ProRural” (PRORURAL), concluded their partnership, with the purpose of identifying and publishing technical documentation on the platform Digital Grow. PRORURAL is a member of AIMFR and provides work-based training for rural people in Peru. PRORURAL currently supports approximately 50 Family Rural Schools and a training centre for trainers.

Between 9 and 13 September 2016, Fondation Ondjyla presented the platform Digital Grow, in Lima and Piura, Peru. Digital Grow is a useful tool for Family Rural Schools widely implemented in Latin America, particularly in Peru.

Partnership with ASBRAER

Fondation Ondjyla and "Associação Brasileira das Entidades Estaduais de Assistência Técnica e Extensão Rural” (ASBRAER) celebrated a new partnership. Its goal is to identify and publish technical documentation on the platform Digital Grow, as well as to allow the discussion of other forms of cooperation, in order to contribute to the development of the global rural world.

Digital Grow presentation at AIMFR’s annual meeting

Fondation Ondjyla had the honour of participating in the annual meeting of the Board of Directors of the "Associação Internacional dos Movimentos Familiares de Formação Rural” (AIMFR), where it presented the platform Digital Grow, focusing on the benefits of this tool to the Family Rural Schools worldwide. Following the Fondation Ondjyla’s presentation, the Board of Directors of AIMFR unanimously approved the development of a partnership between the two organizations, for the promotion of the platform Digital Grow.

Presentation of the platform Digital Grow, in Brasil

Between 14 and 16 June 2016, Fondation Ondjyla presented its platform Digital Grow, to several Brazilian institutions. Digital Grow is an online platform developed by Fondation Ondjyla that gives free access to a collection of documents related to rural activity techniques, as a way to promote knowledge and to contribute to the development of rural world. Fondation Ondjyla presented its platform Digital Grow, to the "Associação Brasileira das Entidades Estaduais de Assistência Técnica e Extensão Rural” (ASBRAER), the "Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária” (EMBRAPA), the "Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Rural” (SENAR) and to the "União Nacional das Escolas Famílias Agrícolas do Brasil” (UNEFAB), during its visit to Brasilia and Orizona, in Goiás State.

Participation in the General Meeting of AIMFR

The General Meeting of the "Associação Internacional dos Movimentos Familiares de Formação Rural” (AIMFR), was held on 2 July 2015, at the Maison Familiale Rural du Blayais, in Bordeaux, France. Fondation Ondjyla participated in this meeting, and was invited to become a member of this organization.
